How to choose which tools appear on your marking menus.

1 Choose 
Preferences > Marking Menus > Standard Marking Menu.

-drag tools onto a shelf in the window to add them to the corresponding marking menus.
Tip
When setting up marking menus, hold 
and double-click icons to shorten (or abbreviate) the name of the function. This allows for narrower marking menus.
The order of the tools on the marking menu shelf controls what position they occupy on the marking menu:
1 Choose Preferences > Marking Menus > Standard Marking Menu.
2 -drag the tool to the trashcan icon.

2 Hold and double-click the tool icon.
1 Choose Preferences > Marking Menus > Standard Marking Menu.
2 Double-click a marking menu shelf tab.
3 Change the Marking Menu option in the dialog box to the new mouse button for this marking menu.
